Kazuko Horii's exhibition is now being held at CLASKA Gallery & Shop "DO", on the 2nd floor of CLASKA. The title is "arbre + éléphant, brun marron" - meaning "tree + elephant, chestnut brown" in French.
Kazuko Horii is a stylist, food writer & specialist, and it is her 6th exhibition here at CLASKA.
The trees made by Kazuto Yoshikawa, a woodcraft artist, is back again after last years exhibition - with a new assort of ornaments. The 6 ornament set comes in different shapes and materials, some a round white porcelain, some a cross iron, some a glass ring.
Glass plates and wood boxes, too.
A group of elphants have joined the exhibition. Wooden elephants are lively painted by Kazuko Horii, and the wheels actually work!
And the elaphants come also in textile - mittons, tea cozies, and bags.
The "chestnut brown" stands for this brown checked pattern.
Last year, the pattern came in gray. This year's new color brings warmth into your dining, and complements the cuisine.
We also made pouches. The textile items are all DO's original.
The collage posters coloring up the gallery is also all handmade by Kazuko Horii.
The exhibition will be held until December 4th (Sun). Please stop by if you are visiting CLASKA.
